When my Grandparents used to take their grandkids snowmobiling in the winter, we always headed up to Coles Pond in Vermont. Friends of the family owned a home on the pond, and it was ideal for us to learn on as young kids. As we got older, we were exposed to the trails surrounding the area and exhausted our days (and sometimes evenings) in the woods of Northern Vermont.With the help of one of my cousins, we designed the scent for Coles Pond based around the outdoors, with a lot of memories about some of the indoor alternatives. So the scent for Coles Pond focuses on the frozen pond and the woods that surround the trails all across the state. The fir, pine and balsam are prominent upfront, then give way to camphor and eucalyptus to create that feel of the cold sting of winter on the frozen lake.
